Celebrate Kids with Keiki Aloha

Parents will be delighted in the cultural and educational, supervised activities provided through the Keiki Aloha Program at Sheraton Hotels in Waikiki. Keiki (children) Aloha (love) Program is conducted by Kama’aina Kids, which is a multi-service non-profit organization. It aims to serve children and their families by providing quality programs with quality care through a variety of recreational and educational activities. The extremely popular Keiki Aloha Program is offered to all four Sheraton Hotels in Waikiki (The Royal Hawaiian, Sheraton Waikiki, the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort,  and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani).

Now in its 17th year, Keiki Aloha Program was the first program of its kind in the industry and is considered one of the most successful. There are a variety of activities offered to the children that include popular water sports, boogie boarding, catamaran sailing and Hawaiian culture based activities, such as lei making, hula dancing and Hawaiian arts and crafts.

The children will also experience outdoor adventures, such as Diamond Head hiking, night fishing, crab and scavenger hunting. Daytime activities include visits to the Hawaii Army Museum, LuCoral Museum, Sea Life Park and Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens.

The program is offered complimentary to children of guests of Sheraton Hotels in Waikiki paying rack rates or certain upper category package rates, based on each individual property’s hotel programs. Meals, however, will remain optional. Free shuttle service for guests are available at the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort, and the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani at 9:00a.m.  To ensure the safety of the children, all of the staff members are well-trained professionals and certified in first aid, CPR and lifeguarding.
