Located a crosswalk away from world-famous Waikiki Beach, the 1150-room Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel is bordered on both sides by two of Waikiki’s most popular shopping centers – the International Marketplace and King’s Village. The hotel is walking distance to Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium.
History
Located at the former entrance site of the Ainahau Estate, once home to Hawaii’s Princess Victoria Kawekiu Lunalilo Kalaninuiahilapalapa Ka‘iulani, the hotel houses historic photographs of the princess and the royal monarchy throughout the property. The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel first opened its doors on King Kamehameha Day, June 11, 1955. The hotel will celebrate their 52-year anniversary in 2007.

Sheraton Princess Kaiulani has two specialty restaurants . Whether you are craving made-to-order omelets, “Flavors of Hawaii” cuisine, or lighter fare, The Pikake Terrace is the answer. The Pikake Terrace is open daily for breakfast and dinner buffets. Lunch is served daily in the Pikake Lounge. Nightly poolside entertainment takes place at the lava rock stage every night. The Momoyama restaurant specializes in authentic Japanese cuisine. Enjoy their extensive selection of sushi, appetizers and dinner entrees.

The Peach Room at the Momoyama Restaurant can accommodate parties of 25 to 140 guests and has been exquisitely decorated to create the perfect setting for any party.
Children’s Program
Kids want a vacation of their own!. The Westin Kids Club is available to Starwood Hotels in Waikiki guests with children age 5 – 12 years. From Hawaiian arts and crafts to visits to the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium, kids get a chance to immerse themselves in the culture of Hawaii. Offered at a nominal fee for the entire day’s events, the program is supervised by state-qualified counselors. The program is offered from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily, year-round, with extended hours from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. during the summer months.
Hookipa Fitness Center
Available to all guests staying at a Starwood Hotel in Waikiki, the Hookipa Fitness center is located on the 4th floor of the Sheraton Waikiki hotel. Guese may use state-of-the-art Cybex, Universal and Tunturi exercise equipment, plus the locker rooms, restrooms and shower facilities.
